1. Customer Service Commitment

  • Our licensed massage therapists are dedicated to delivering high-quality, professional, and ethical services.

  • All treatments are tailored to client needs while maintaining industry standards and ethical guidelines.

  • We strive for a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment for all clients.

2. Privacy & Data Protection

Thai Hands NYC adheres to the following privacy and data protection laws:

a. HIPAA Compliance (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act)

  • We safeguard all personal health information (PHI) obtained during services.

  • Clients' medical history, treatment details, and personal data will only be accessed by authorized personnel.

  • We do not disclose PHI to third parties without written consent, except as required by law.

b. PDPA Compliance (Personal Data Protection Act - Thailand, Royal Thai Government of 2019)

  • Personal data collected (e.g., name, contact information, payment details) is used solely for appointment scheduling, client records, and service improvements.

  • We implement secure storage practices to protect client information from unauthorized access.

  • Clients may request access, correction, or deletion of their data by submitting a written request.

c. USC Title 42 § 1320 (U.S. Code - Public Health & Welfare)

  • Ensures confidentiality and protection of personal health information in accordance with U.S. federal regulations.

  • Governs the disclosure of client health data and prohibits unauthorized access or misuse.

  • Provides guidelines for lawful access by government entities only when legally mandated.

d. Discretion & Confidentiality

  • All client interactions, discussions, and services are conducted with the utmost discretion.

  • We do not share client information with third parties for marketing or solicitation purposes.

  • Employees and therapists are bound by confidentiality agreements to protect client privacy.

3. Appointment & Cancellation Policy

  • Booking: Appointments can be made via phone, email, or online booking system.

  • Late Arrivals: Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may have their session shortened to avoid delays for the next scheduled client. The full session fee remains applicable.

  • Cancellations: We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Failure to cancel within this period may result in a 50% service fee.

  • No-Shows: Clients who fail to show up without prior notice will be charged the full session fee and may be required to prepay for future bookings.

4. Payment & Refund Policy

  • Payment is due at the time of service via cash, credit/debit card, or approved digital payment methods.

  • Refunds: We do not offer refunds for completed services. However, if a client is dissatisfied with their experience, they may contact management within 24 hours for resolution.

  • Prepaid packages or gift cards are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person with written approval.

5. Code of Conduct

  • Clients must behave respectfully toward therapists and staff at all times.

  • Harassment, inappropriate behavior, or misconduct will result in immediate termination of the session without refund and possible legal action.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who violates these policies.

6. Health & Safety Policies

  • Clients should disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries prior to their session.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service if a client presents with a contagious illness or condition that may pose a risk to staff or other clients.

  • Our facilities follow strict sanitation protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment.

7. Updates & Policy Changes

Thai Hands NYC reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes through our website and in-clinic notices.
